Violet Rossi is a young widow and a workaholic. Following the death of her husband, Andrew, Violet poured herself in to work and bottled up her grief. All work and no play makes Violet a dull girl. One year after Andrew's death, Violet's sisters conspire to help her start coping better and move on. They suggest that she make some changes in her life. Violet doesn't realize that making one small change will have a profound effect on her.
By chance, she meets tattoo artist Troy Madison. There is a mutual attraction right away. Violet and Troy form a connection and certain coincidences draw them closer together. Can she put her grief behind her and explore this connection with Troy? Can Troy come to grips with his own issues and pursue something deeper with Violet?
